533.0. "CABLE for TZ887 & space question" by USPS::FPRUSS (Frank Pruss, 202-232-7347) Fri Mar 14 1997 00:19

    I'vew searched but can't find:

    The recommended cable used to connect a KZPAA to a 2t-tz887-ne mouinted
    in the system cabinet.

    What do we recommend for a TZ887-NE mounted in an SW800?

    Will 2 4100's, one drive shelf (split bus), the h4020-aa management
    station and a 2t-tz887-ne ALL fit in one system cabinet?

    can the h4020-aa stand the 240V in the system cabinet?

If you mount a TZ887-NE into a SW800 you will most likely exceed
the max allowed SCSI cable length limit. Therefore you will need
to run differential most likely using a KZPSA-BB.

There is not enough room to load all you want into a single cab.
You may want to consider using the H9B10 expander cab.

All components that we list in the SOC for use have auto-sense
power supplies. So yes the H4020 is rated for 208VAC.

    You may wish to consider the TZ885 .... fits nicely into a rack. Also
    the CSS folks have a taller rack than the corporate 4xxx rack. That
    may help to get all this stuff into one rack. Alternatively a KZPSA
    with DWZZA will allow you enough cable length if you need to go to
    another rack for the TZ887 tape.

    To connect the tape drive to a KZPAA use a BN23G cable (50HD to 50LD)
    The KZPSA to the SW800 would use:

      KZPSA--> BN21K ----> DWZZA --> BC19J ------>  TZ887
    	      (68HD - 68HD)         (50LD - 50LD)
