    How are things with you?

    Hi,
    
    I'm actually doing really well.  Our move back from Germany went well, 
    and my job here in UNIX Support Engineering (I concentrate on file
    systems, ASE and TruCluster) has been a real good change for me. 
    
    We've also gotten really settled into our new home and a good church
    here in Nashua, N.H.  
    
    So, all in all, we're blessed :-)
    
    If time permits, I've been really busy, I may try to drop in more 
    often evenings.

    Nancy, I don't blame you for being upset.  However, please realize that
    I was also upset when I realized that your visit to Colorado Springs
    would coincide with the week that I would be away as well.  It isn't
    too often that someone who frequents this conference gets to be at a
    site where other conference noters reside.  To have you here and me
    elsewhere was very disappointing.  Perhaps another time.

    This reminds me of a movie that I saw on an in flight movie and later
    rented at home as well.  Pretty good movie as I recall, titled:

	The Englishman That Went Up A Hill And Came Down A Mountain

    I can't remember the name of the main character, but he also was in a
    movie that we rented a few weeks ago, "Sense and Sensibilities".
    Another movie that I enjoyed quite a bit.

Hi John,

Glad you're settled into your new home now. We have a Bible study that meets
on Thursday evenings if you're interested.  Remember Philip Thomas? He has
just moved to Canada so that his wife & son can finally join him. U.S. 
immigrations would not let them into the U.S. :-(.

Hi Ron,

I know, I used to live in Colorado Springs, but these are still technically 
mountains, and we don't have to worry as much about drying up and blowing
away... :-)  It was always the dryness in the Springs that got to me.

    hmm, Tony is awfully quiet after that game on sunday...

    HALELUJAH FOR GREEN BAY!!!  That was a GREAT game.  :-)

    Tony and I saw Reggie White speak at a church meeting last year.  He
    spoke of how God healed him from severe game injuries.
    
    My kids were there and were very encouraged by his testimony.

 At the end of the game, or shortly thereafter, it appeared that Reggie White
 and a number of his teammates and some members of the Patriots were gathering
 for prayer on the field (Reggie White was asking for camerapersons, et al,
 to move back so they could pray). The cameras cut away quickly.

 Once again, we saw these men praising God unashamedly..it was quite touching,
 and encouraging.

Yeah, I saw that too.  It was Reggie and the Patriot's Curtis Martin in the
center, with quite a gathering of other players, and it looked like they had
a few non-players joining them too.

        I am a VERY happy camper these days!  I had Sunday (yes, I
        work Sundays) and Monday off so today was my first day of
        work in awhile.
    
        I was very glad to see the Pack win and I think I am content
        for life in so far as sports stuff is concerned!
    
        It was very nice for me, but alas, painful for our many Patriot
        backers.
    
        Nance, the thing with Reggie had to be providence, don't you
        think?  What are the odds that a Packer fan living in MA would
        travel to CA and step into a church with Reggie White there and
        he didn't know it ahead of time!
