915.0. "NIGHTCRAWLER~~~ says ADIOS!" by SCOMAN::WOOLDRIDGE (Worm fishermen have stiffer rods) Mon Nov 21 1988 14:04

    YO,
There is life after decth. The NIGHTCRAWLER~~~~~~~ has accepted
a position with another company. He will be in Oregon for 1.5 years
catching steelies and salmon and will then make home New Mexico.
Yes there is fishing there. 40,000 acre Elephant butte lake is on
    the Bass Trail.
Bottom line here is adios amigos. You have to find someone
else to harass you! Its been real.
                                           NIGHTCRAWLER~~~~~~~~

     YO, Your Hermaphroditeness:
Mi Compadre, "Lavender Jack" and I have enjoyed your many inputs
and general irreverence. It sure kept a lot of the guys from takin'
themselves too serious! We were looking forward to meeting you,
but perhaps we will on a Steelhead river or elsewhere (Bar, Grateful
Dead Concert, Miss TeenAge America contest, etc.).
Keep the shiny side up, and have a "dip" for us when you're out
    in "Rambo country"!

First the Legand of the Swamp goes read only, and now this.
Pretty soon there'll be no new senseless dribble anywhere to be
found in this file. What a bore that will be :-)

Good Luck in your new venture. Tight lines and full coolers.

YO, Slimemouth...

Whatsamatta? I compare you to the infamous legend and you run? "TommyCod"
Dodier put it nicely...."senseless dribble", except it's probably more like
senseless slime.

In any event, sorry to see you go. Looks like we're gonna have to find
another sucker to contribute to out tourney pools. Of course, you're more
than welcome to send $$$ in absentia. We'll all bow our heads for a moment
of silence (to hear your ex-partner fall flat on his face).

Good luck...good fishing...good ridan...oops.

Adios compadre.

Such eloquent tributes as this are seldom heard... Certainly a
one-of-a-kind individual such as our squirmy compadre comes along
but rarely (ain't that a relief!) I agree, his irrelevance, err, ahh,
irreverence will certainly be conspicuous by its absence!

This notes file will be a safer but sadder place...

A big "YO" to yo, nightie! ~~~~~~~~~~

(Hey, I know, let's get him a going away gift. How about one of those
hand painted ties, you know, like the ones with fish on the front?
Only we'll get him one with a BIG WORM on it!!!)

Now is the time for all of you to tell this jerk what you say behind
his back and you all go sentimental........I for one will certainly
tell him to his face if I get an invite to his going away party.

Good luck NIGHTCRAWLER. Don't know you well enough to call you worm,
but it sounds like there are plenty out there who know you all to well.

Have enjoyed your input to the file. I for one have laughed many
a time reading your notes. Guess we don't have to worry about a
"worm virus" taking over this file.

    Best of luck.

    Yo Worm,
Hey dont forget to mail the ten bucks for the ice tourney
to HLO2-1/LO8 before you leave. We cant let something like moving
west affect the balance of my winnings.
Good luck, and catch a few salmon for us in the notes files!

    See ya,

must be hell on the stomach.

Hey worm!! I only met you once at the Monomac Lake but it's been
a pleasure reading your inputs on the notes file. I want to know
what your partner is going to do when you leave? All I have to say
is check your luggage before you leave or you might find a big
surprise staggering out when you get there!!

    have a safe trip!!

    Welcome to Oregon!!!

The chinook are up in the rivers now and the winter run of steelhead
is just beginning. The weather has been kind of gnarly so far this
month, but they are taking fish in coastal rivers.

It's a different kind of fishing then you probably are used to,
but it's a kick. Just remember, you have to suffer to catch a winter
    steelhead!!!

We may get him back in some form or another. (I hope not)
