1558.1Next best thing to talking with the LegendSEMIU5::MATTSONWed Mar 13 1991 16:3922
	Folks,
		I've talked with Mike Yellick before at the Centrum show. I
	Don't think you'll find a more down to earth PRO who just loves to
	talk fishing (He could out talk even the Legend). Mike is also a
	regular on the MASS BASS tournament trail (he does quite well). I also
	know he's been the state Champ at least once.

		The tackle Annex is also known as the red barn behind the
	firehouse in Hudson. The owner is also a very good tournament
	fisherman, Jack Weisuri, Jack was also the state champ a year ago.
	So you've got a lot of knowledge you can take advantage of, not to
	mention that Jack's supplies cater towards the bass fishing.

		So come down on the 30th, learn some new things, and get
	a look at a great assortment of fishing supplies.

	p.s.
		Legend I've already reserved a spot for you at the
		2pm seminar. Don't mention it, no need to thank me.
1558.2for newbies?VIRGO::KEATINGWed Mar 13 1991 18:222
    this sounds like something a newby like me should attend. I will have
    to ask The Legend, since he is the LEGEND. tk
1558.3Another plug for Mike, no pun intended.HPSTEK::BCRONINThu Mar 14 1991 12:067
    	Mike has a LOT of local experience to draw from also. He grew
    up in Northboro and has been a Bass fishing fanatic since he was a
    kid. The Assabet River was right in his yard.
       He REALLY knows New England Bass fishing, and he's a real easy
    guy to talk to, he doesn't talk down to anyone.

    			My 2 cents..    B.C.
1558.4Let's Hear From a REAL Pro...ASABET::VARLEYThu Mar 14 1991 14:005
     I think that to insure real quality input and to make sure this
    pretender doesn't make any mistakes, "Bassin' Boob" should attend. He
    won't let Yellick overlook anything...

    A few of us sat in on one of Mike's seminars at the Expo this year,
    it was good. I've also seen him on New England Rod and Reel a couple
    times.
