219.2Danielle is a factor on the WXTNPUBS::WASIEJKORetired CPOThu Sep 24 1992 19:484
    My guess is that Hurricane Danielle is pumping in some good-sized
    rollers. It may be uncomfortable offshore for a couple of days.

The forecast for today was 10-20N/NE, 4-8'. This is mainly due to the fact
that it has blown n/ne for several days in a row. I doubt tomorrow will be
a go.

    A bunch of guys went out today on the Patriot but I chickened out.
    10-20 and 4-8 told my stomach "no way".
219.5Thanks for the number...it saved me a trip.MR4DEC::FBUTLERFri Sep 25 1992 19:2512

    I was headed for Gloucester with a friend this afternoon. I saw the
    phone number for the marine forecast and had been calling all morning,
    busy, busy, busy. I finally tried one last time before I left and
    heard the 4-8' with small craft advisories and cancelled.
    Thanks for the number. I would have been even more bummed had I pulled
    the boat up there and found out first hand...
