1174.0. "Help with surface model frequency bands please" by GALLOP::NELSONR (Rob Nelson @EOO) Fri Feb 02 1990 07:39

I'm writing an RC car race control program for use by the BRCA tenth
section and one of the requirements is that it has to sort drivers
into races and resolve crystal channels. Because this program will
be used for international meetings it has to be able to handle all
RC bands. In the UK surface models can operate on 27 and 40 Mhz.

Can any of you tell me what bands and channels are legal in your
country?. I need to know the band, frequencies and local names.

    E.G.

I've already written Race Programs for the BBC Micro that can handle
all channels in the UK. The new program in is Turbo Pascal for
the PC. I'll post the spec here if anyone is interested.

    Regards,

Andy's answer on the 75 mhz band was correct ,
but the 27 mhz band should read as follows :

    		26.995 ch1
    		27.045 ch2
    		27.095 ch3

    		27.195 ch5
    		27.255 ch6
