Bob,
One of the CRRC members has a Dragonlady and loves it.
You need a good deal of power to really have it move around.
Either a small Quadra or a big Supertigre.

a guy named john came out to our club field with his astro
hog,he asked me to fly it on its maiden flight,i loved it.
another friend was watching from the pits,he walked out to
the flight line and asked john if he could fly it too.well
john didn,t much stick time on that hog because buddy number
two bought it and the conqust radio for $500.00.must be nice
to have money.
anyway i think the hog is a 1960,s desigh,sig started rekitting
it when the four strokes started to get popular,it has alot of
dihedril so the wing tips are way off the ground,works out
nicley when you expriance a brain stall on aproch,it lands
slowwww.to be honest with you i like my kouger more.the
kouger is of course 40 sized and more resonsive,as im sure
the ultra sport must be!!. sorry about the spelling,i was born
with good looks instead..............

I have a friend who flies an Sig Astro Hog . He covered it blue
with yellow wings , kind of looks like a Pt40 Trainer WWII . He
flies it on some English made .60 size , flies great , very
aerobatic and can fly very slow. He let me take the stick for a
few seconds , just long enough to lose control . He has been flying
it for about 10 years never crashed. He clipped the wings . He has
flown it on a .45 Super Tiger and said it flew good. I fly a Great
Planes PT20 but like to get a Hog someday.

| The Draggon Lady is a Modeltech Semi ARF of balsa construction with
foam wing. You have to cover it. IT flies very well with a 120
four-stroker on it. I would not go anything less. It is similar in
characteristics to my Sportster 90/120 but much less work to build.

Would you say that its about 10 hours of work for an experienced
builder? Do you have to modify it for a four stroker meaning is there
enough cowl space for a 120?

| I would say that you would have to be very quick to complete the
Dragon Lady in under 20 hours or so. It needs wing halves joined,
glassing of center section, and covering before you can install the
radio and stuff. Consider it about the same as any balsa model that is
built but not covered yet. You'll have no problem intalling a 4-stroke
120 in it. The one I saw had a cowl from another plane installed
because the one that came with it had broken.

| Can't say that I know anything about the Dragon Lady but the Astro Hog.
Now here is an airplane that when I was building it I thought it was
just another plane. Wrong, this thing flew great. Mine was powered
by a K&B .61, white base color with red triangular stipes on top and
deep blue and yellow tri stripes on the bottom. The thing could be
seen to say the least. When I build my next one it'll get more power,
the K&B just doesn't have the needed power for high altitudes. Yes I'm
describing it in the past tense. I lost mine in what I call a death
spin. Simply a full power, tight spin towards the ground. I over
compensated the controls and ran out of air.
I MISS MY HOG-----SOB SOB SOB....
