    I vote Gordon bonehead of the week. The guy is a lap down and he's
    banging fenders with the race leader with 5 to go...I know it's
    racing but the unwritten rule says get out of the way and let the
    leaders race to the end.

JG started 4th in line on the last restart with Rudd in 5th (NASCAR scoring 
problem later corrected by giving Hamilton 5th) hot to take the spot away.  
IMHO JG stayed out of the fight for 1st-3rd as much as he could with RR on 
his bumper.  But when RR started pulling along side JG had to protect his 
spot and the best way to do that is to put other cars between you and your 
adversary.

    I can't really blame gordon for trying to get his lap back, even with
    so few laps left.  Ernie crashed, brought out the caution, and JG could
    have been back on the lead lap.
    
    Now the Ernie crash.... it wasn't shown on TV, but the talk from
    scanner broadcasts indicates that it was CAUSED by ol' Wonderboy. 
    Apparently, a couple of laps earlier, JG had tangled with Ernie's right
    front and caused his tire to go down.  It blew and Ernie hit the wall.
    
    Jeffie will get his.  He's being pretty agressive this year, and he's
    pi$$ing off a lot of other drivers...  Paybacks are a... well, you
    know.

While lining up for the restart at ~ lap 30 JG was weaving in and out of 
traffic to get to the head of the line for cars one lap down.  At the same 
time EI was weaving his car to keep his tires clean.  In one of those 
racin' deals :*) JG hit EI or EI hit JG.  This ended up in with the damager 
to EI's tire which eventually caused his crash.
