    Hi CM!

Well...I don't have all the stats memorized....I only have a few brain
cells so I have to conserve but I do know where to go for my coaster
    facts!

P.S. Chris...seriously. It is a GREAT park! They have a really nice
zoo area that you go thru three different ways, beautiful flowers like
orchids growing out of these rock formations with waterfalls, fun
rides, very nice staff (without being sickenly fake like at Disney),
REASONABLY priced food (a real rarity in Florida!) that tastes good.
They also have BEAUTIFUL merchandise...like wood carvings, etc...tons
of African themed stuff. They just really pay attention to all the
detail like in the Moroccan (sp?) bazarre area, etc.
371.24MPGS::REITHJim (MPGS::) Reith - DTN 237-3045 SHR3-1/U32Wed Nov 08 1995 18:439
Say pretty please...

I haven't been recording them but I'll try for the reruns this weekend and pop
one in the box if it's alright with Brian. You can bump him a few quid towards
postage. You would have LOVED this weeks episode with Dax and her previous
mate...Might catch it on saturday for you and then the new ones on sunday and
monday. I can then fill the rest with Mr Bean! or CSPAN of our Congress 8^) 8^)

I take it NTSC is ok?

I knew you'd have all the FAQ sites somewhere 8^)

It is a nice park. Trouble is there so many in that area and each one is a day
at least. There's a monastary with a "singing" or "whistling" tower that had a
significant impact on me as a teenager. Hours of poetry was written about that
experience. It's surrounded by beautiful gardens as well but the name escapes
me.

371.30The best placeSHRCTR::SIGELFlock of SigelsWed Nov 08 1995 22:5024
This is the best time to go to Florida, especially if you want to go to
Walt Disney World. The place is empty (since holidays are now the main
focus). I went the week after Thanksgiving a few years ago and we got
on all the attractions in record time.

Word of advice, bring WARM clothes (long sleeve shirts, sweater, jeans
etc) I had on a turtleneck and jacket walking around Disney, it was
cold, like high sixties, low seventies. I seen a lot of people walking
around in shorts and I know they were uncomfortable.

Dont Miss: If you have time to spare, go to Palm Beach. The houses and
mansions will blow you away. Worth Avenue in Palm Beach is the
equivelent of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills CA. Lots of ritzy shops like
Tiffany, Gucci and some spectacular cafes and antique shops. Dont miss
driving by the overwhelming large hotel called the Breakers. This hotel
is where all the weathiest people and royalty stay. Really gorgous, it
is like a palace. It was built in the early 1920's and all the high
society familys like the Vanderbilts , Rockefellers, and Astors stayed.

Is there room for me ;-)???

    Have fun!

I'd settle for those temps right about now.

Yes, bring warmer clothes with you but don't skip the shorts

> Dont Miss: <blah blah blah>

Yeah, I was down there for a conference and will admit that it blew me away.
There's some serious money involved in some of those people. Try not to drool
if you go.

After the session we've had today, you'd consider going? 8^)

    Hi Rick!

I'm so glad that Tracie still has fond memories of Six Flags! We had
such a good time...listening to her say "oh my god" about 10,000 times
while we were on the GASM coaster!

Too bad you didn't make the trip but the offer still stands! I +HAVE+
to go back there sometime cuz they've added a new coaster and also
a new free fall I believe!

I was just looking at the pictures from this summer at Alton and
Blackpool....such fun with Tracie and Rick and Bliss and Woz! :)
