I am looking for some information about Marlboro. I'll soon be starting a
new (non-Digital) job there, but I don't know anything about the area.
I would appreciate any suggestions about things like where to get a
decent lunch, etc., from all you Marlboro people.
Thank you in advance for your help! I'd never been to Marlboro prior
to my interview, and I could use some help finding my way around there.

Hi Kristen,
I live in Marlboro and used to work in HLO. I'd be glad to give you
suggestions about things in town. Which part of town will you be
working in?
We have a nice Thai restaurant Chez Siam.
There is a new 'cheap price' movie theater in town.
We have a brand new REAL shopping mall on Solomon Pond Mall Road
(Filene's, Sears, JC Penney)
For a quick meal there is Checkerboard's in the Shaw's Plaza.

There is lots of material on Marlboro on HUMANE::MASSACHUSETTS. Just do a dir/title=marlboro. Some of this is out of date, of course. The most important fact about Marlboro IMO is that nearly all the industry is on the west side, nearly all the apartments and stores (EXCEPT for Solomon Pond Mall) are on the east side, and you must go thru the center of town to get from side to the other. (There is a very awkward alternate route in case the center of town is gridlocked.) | |||||
