    Hi everyone....
    
    I know this isn't usual for this file, but I'm really desperate to find
    this cat a home.  I thought maybe my FRIENDS may know of someone
    looking for a really sweet cat.
    
    Unfortunately, I'm desperately looking for a home for the cream tabby
    brittish shorthair mentioned in the feline notesfile, 166.22-.40.  
    The owner has had a kidney and pancreas transplant and has decided that
    she's just too afraid of infection from toxoplasmosis to risk having her 
    around.  At the moment, Legacy is living with a friend of hers, but 
    unfortunately she cannot keep her.  We're getting to a critical stage
    here where the friend wants the cat gone by the holiday.
    
    Details:
    
    Breed:  Brittish Shorthair (purebred)
    Color:  Cream tabby (really a pretty color)
    sex:  Female, Spayed
    Age:  ~7 years old
    Claws:  She has been declawed in the front
    
    Temperment:  Legacy is one of the sweetest cats I've ever known. 
    She'll walk up to you and rub her body up against your legs, or she'll
    give "kisses", by headbutting your nose.  She's REALLY sweet.  The kind
    of cat who won't try and sleep up near your face, but will be perfectly
    comfortable at the end of the bed at your feet.  However, she is a very
    timid cat, and would shy away if there was another aggressive cat in
    the house.  Currently she is the only cat in her house, but she MAY get
    along with another timid cat.
    
    
    PLEASE.. We're DESPERATE to find Legacy a home.  If you know of anyone
    looking for a cat, please contact me.  She is in Texas at the moment,
    but we will pay all shipping costs to get her to the right home.

    Thank goodness, we have found a home for this beautiful baby.  A friend
    of mine, Hal Whitehair, will be taking her.  My friend is paying for
    the airfare for her to be shipped up here tomorrow.

    This was the first note I read in the New Year.  What a happy ending
    for Legacy!!!  She sounded so sweet.

    Unfortunately, there's a little bit of a twist in this story.  It turns
    out that there's a law saying that you cannot ship an animal unless the
    temperature at the destination and at any stops must be above 43
    degrees farrenheit.  Oh well.  Looks like Legacy won't be able to be
    shipped for a little while.
