| Well, I'm not a fddi guru, but the pipeline quota affects the
end-to-end data exchange, se the fact that one of more of the hops
are fddi should make little difference.
I would say that if you expect logical links only between nodes
directly connected to the fddi, then keep your p.q. as high as
possible to reduce protocol overheads. I think Pathworks recommends
15000 or more to improve remote loading.
If you expect logical links between nodes with slow hops, a high p.q
would be painful for the "interactive" traffic against the "block"
traffic.
