It's not as little a gotcha as you might think...

TeamLinks won't be supporting nested folders in
the near future, so access to Exchange public
folders is a little weird.

As a workaround, I think you could possibly use
the Exchange client to locate the desired folder
and move it into your Favorites folder. This
should work OK as long as the folder you're working
with doesn't contain nested folders too.

We are extremely aware of this limitation and
we have every intention of getting support for
nested folders in as soon as possible. Not just
for MAPI, but for DIGITAL servers as well.
It's unfortunate, but due to the complexity of the
problem and the need to get a version of TeamLinks
out with basic support for the Exchange server this
summer, we've had to delay this work until a later
version of TeamLinks. Probably the version after
next.

EFT1 for TeamLinks V3 should start in March sometime. EFT1
functionality work is settling down and we'll be working
on stabilizing the product for EFT1 over the next month
or so.
