2098.0. "Values for Dept: and Tel No when printing" by OASS::ANDRES_B () Tue Apr 01 1997 18:58

    TeamLinks 2.7
    Mailworks for Unix

When printing a mail messasge from TeamLinks where is the Dept: value
being held. Using Mailworks for either Unix or VMS is there a profile
value that can be added for Dept: and Tel No:?

In testing using IOS as the server it appears that the Location value
for the profile is Dept: and Tel No: is the Business Phone value.

These are printed by obtaining the CFC_Location and CFC_TelephoneNum
attributes for the particular message. They would have to be part of
the message when it is created in not get damaged by any gateways in
order for the recipient to print these.

2098.2How is the value set in Mailworks for VMS or UnixOASS::ANDRES_BThu Apr 03 1997 19:2013
    Jerry,

I think I need a little clarification. I understand that this
would come from when the message is created. When IOS is the
server this information comes from the user's profile. What
I can't determine is where the values come from for the Mailworks
for VMS or Unix users. Do you have any idea on how these are
    set for those servers?

    Thanks,

    Beth

2098.3MailWorks/UNIX doesn't carry Location and Telephonesolid.zko.dec.com::mskrat::mansurJoe MansurFri Apr 04 1997 12:299
The MailWorks servers let you store location and
telephone number in your user profile.

The MailWorks/UNIX server doesn't carry or save the
sender's location and telephone on messages, but the
MailWorks/VMS server should.
