2179.0. "Automatic installation" by NNTPD::"jacobsenp@mail.dec.com" (Preben Jacobsen) Wed May 07 1997 12:06

I have a customer who are interested in getting rid of the last
confirmation box when performing automatic installation.

They have updated the installationscript to perform batch installation
but they dont seem to be able to avoid this messagebox.

Any hints??

Preben,

Do you mean the "TeamLinks has installed successfully" dialog?
If so, for V3.0 an option has been added to the defaults.ini to
not display this dialog. In fact it will be in EFT2.

Well, This may be the chance of getting the customer up to V3.0...

Do you know if V3.0 also will accept commandparameters such as
defaults.ini filenames as input to setup.exe, such as Microsoft products does?

No, we haven't done anything to support this.
