2095.0. "ALL-IN-1 Kanji&English/TeamLinks English client" by KYOSS1::ERICKSEN (Cindy Ericksen/DTN:323-4051) Mon Mar 31 1997 14:04

    Hi Folks!

A quick question regarding TeamLinks (English) and ALL-IN-1
    (Kanji/Eglish).

I sent mail from a site in the US (TeamLinks client/ALL-IN-1 server)
to a test account in Japan. I then logged into the system in Japan
via a terminal emulation session as well as being connected using
TeamLinks. I got what I assumed to be a new message notification
(most of the characters were undecipherable) in the terminal session
(not in ALL-IN-1 at the time). From TeamLinks I opened all folders
(there were 6) and all indicated that there were '0 messages'.

I then sent created and sent a message in TeamLinks while logged
into the Japan test account and received and read it without a
    problem in the test account.

I then read the message sent from the States using the ALL-IN-1 VT
interface and could read it without a problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

I expect (read that as 'hope') that when my customer comes in with
his Kanji TeamLinks client that he will be able to get messages
regardless of where they are sent from.

    Thanks,

    Cindy

I think we'll need to get someone who worked
on the development of Kanji TeamLinks to reply.

I'll see what I can do,
Jerry
