2026.0. "TeamLinks clients to MS-Exchange server" by NZOV02::HOWARD (NZ: Where Digital's Week Begins) Mon Mar 03 1997 23:20

In starting to plan for a customer to migrate from ALL-IN-1 to
MS-Exchange a number of questions came up. Perhaps someone here could
    assist.

Can the TEAMLINKS clients work with an MS-Exchange server?.

If not now, is it coming this year (when)?.

If yes to either, what other client setup is required?.

    Regards, Martin

2026.2TeamLinks V3 just began EFT1TAMARA::CUMMINGSJerry Cummings, TeamLinksTue Mar 04 1997 16:479
V3 of TeamLinks for Windows began EFT1 this week with the
intent to ship in mid-July. If your customer is in the process
of migration with the intent to use the Exchange or Outlook
client, DIGITAL provides a few other possibilities as well.
There's a TeamLinks based tool for migrating user's mail to
Exchange, and drivers that allow Exchange to work with
MailWorks/Unix and ALL-IN-1.

What I would like to do is continue using TeamLinks for the mail but use
Outlook for the diary. Is this possible ?

Alan

Should be OK. We mix and match Outlook, Exchange, and TeamLinks
for mail operations. Currently, use of PABs is what would give
you some logistical trouble.
