1974.0. "Wax compound for teak decking" by ICS::WANNOOR () Thu Dec 03 1992 20:03

    Here's a novel tip for keeping your teak deck looking good. I've added
    this as a new topic, because I couldn't find any discussion of wax
    compounds in other notes on this subject.

    I've been advised by the technical manager of Marine Trader
    International (the importer of the boat I'm buying) to clean the teak
    with the usual substances, such as bleach, and then to use a wax
    compound called Wood Sheen by Minwax. Wipe it into the wood with grey
    scotchwipe pads.

    This is easy to touch up once or twice a season by simply washing and
    then adding another coat or two. I may try this come spring and let you
    know...
