| I commisioned a Moody 28 in 1986 and am currently in the process
of selling her and purchasing a new Moody 336 thus my opinion is
likely to be slightly biased......
The current production models are
Moody 31 fin or bilge 6 berths in 3 cabins 31 ft 10.5 ft
Moody 336 fin as above aft cockpit 33.5 ft 11.5 ft
Moody 346 fin or bilge as above centre cockpit 34.5 ft 11.6 ft
Moody 376 fin or scheel as above centre cockpit
Moody 422 fin or scheel
Moody eclipse 33ft motor sailor
Moody eclipse 43 ft motor sailor
In layout they are functional and comfortable.
They are quality seaworthy yachts , in the 28 we occaisionaly got
caught in 54 knts + in the English channel, we would have given
up before the yacht. There is a Moody Owners Association and I could
get you the address if you are interested.
If you are serious I would suggest you contact
Mr Brian Sharp

He will be happy to answer queries etc feel free to use my name
by way of intro . I am purchasing the 336 from him.

| I have been sailing a few of the older models (moody 33, 36, 39) and
have to say EXCELLENT sailing yachts. Probably not too fast but very
strong and save mainly when it's getting heavy. Lots of space in there
and what I liked was the middle cockpit they usually have. Keeps you
nice and dry during tacking. The boat is not at all to compare with the
typical charter boats (jeaunau's, beneteau's, first's) you get over
here today.
