| I've been looking at several models
of TVs in the last few weeks, including
Panasonic's superflat 31", SONY's KV32V35,
ProScan, and some Mitsus. I've found though
that the XBR had the best picture. I saw it
demoed in Tweeter last night with a laser
disc player. The colors and sharpness were
incredible.
Do owners or others believe it is worth the
hefty price tag? I've heard conflicting stories
about it. Some believe it's well worth it. Others
say the XBR stands for Xtra Bucks Required and
isn't worth it.
I also read a complaint about lack of color temperature
control. The colors seemed pretty vivid to me.
Can someone explain this to me.
Thanks,
Justin

Start reading the rec.video newsgroup. You can also use dejanews or
altavista to search for references for the model you are interested in.
I belive that whatever set you buy you still have to spend a fair
amount of money afterwards to have it calibrated.
