Absotively! I do it all the time. Just make sure you wrap it
    (Saran-type wrap) tightly.

I have a a triple chocolate cheesecake (note 60.52) in my freezer
waiting for December 23rd and a little holiday dinner with some
friends. (I highly recommend the recipe in 60.52. It's incredible and
I get rave reviews and requests for it!)

Try preslicing the cake, then use the back of the knife to insert a folded piece
of wax paper (to keep the pieces separate). Then insert a popsicle stick into
the outside edge of each piece. Wrap, and freeze. When it's solid, you have
cheesecake-sicles. You gotta try these to believe how great they are.

Warning... don't try these with those artificial foam style cheesecakes, only
the real thing will do.

A local restaurant serves these dipped in dark chocolate. They are to
die for! :-) All sins wrapped into one...

How about putting a cheesecake into the freezer to make it set??

I believe what you may find is that it will partially freeze before it
sets. Not too nice when thawed out.
