    			 PINEAPPLE CHEESE BALL
    
    
    2 packages (8oz) cream cheese, softened
    1 can (8.5oz) crushed pineapple, drained
    2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
    1/4 finely chopped green pepper
    2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
    1 tablespoon seasoned salt
    
    In medium bowl, beat cream cheese with fork until smooth.  Gradually
    stir in crushed pineapple, green pepper, onion and salt.  Shape into 
    a ball.  Roll in nuts.  Wrap in plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate
    until well chilled.
    
    This is an excellent cheese ball that receives many compliments.  I do
    not use the full 2 cups of nuts; I usually use only 1 cup.  Instead of
    making 1 large cheese ball, I make 2 smaller ones and freeze one.
