474.0. "More verbed nouns" by MDVAX3::BROCKUS (Just this guy, you know?) Fri Jan 29 1988 04:34

Give me the benefit of the doubt if this note should go somewhere
else (I'm new to this conference), but I wanted to enter this while
    it was still fresh...

I just saw the new videotape about our Job Overview Questionnaire
at a unit meeting. Through the wonder of television, I learned
that they "questionnaired" a lot of people for this project.

It reminds me of a manager I had a while back who was always telling
me to "memo" him on this or that.

It appears that you have a choice of where it could go (the output
    is from DIR/TITLE="verb"/OUTPUT=[dir]name.ext).

    Since we're here...

From "Remember Digital's Customer-Oriented Values" by Jack Shields:
"We are the only vendor that has consistently, for many years, offered
solutions that do not require the *obsoleting* of existing investments
either in our equipment or our competition's."

474.4TERZA::ZANEunique to one, common to allWed Feb 03 1988 02:328
I just read an announcement for a class that described it as a
   "Manufacturing Reskilling Class."

Reskilled??? If I am skilled in some activity, did I have to be skilled
to get that way? If I'm reskilled, am I more skilled than I was before?
My mind boggles at such a phrase...

474.7FUNERALIZED, DEAD, AND BURIEDSAHQ::LILLYit's a slow news dayWed May 11 1988 00:268
The Atlanta Journal had an obituary today the said,"...Mrs. (What's
her name?) will be funeralized at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday."

Now, I guess that if she is put in a crypt, she will be...

Nothing to do with cryptography ( or perhaps, cryptology? ), but
I heard an ad on the radio recently about a local hospital offering
extended maternity care for the best possible birthing experience
for the new mother. How does one birth, unless you happen to be
an ocean liner who can't spell?

Guess it's somewhere between enlightened and enraged. Next thing will
    be that conferences are moderatorified.
