1152.0. "Christmas 1992 Party plans?" by TOLKIN::OROURKE (Always the trend setter...) Wed Nov 25 1992 15:58

Ok, OK, OK.....Since *NOBODY* else seems brave enough to get this
    started, here goes nothing!

It's that time of year again! Time to gather with CELT friends old and
dear and share in the Spirit of Christmas. (just be greatful George
won't be playing carols on that lovely over=speakered Organ in his
    home!)

So what's it gonna be folks?

Can I hear some suggestions for date/place? Post 'em here or send me
mail. Last year was the Homeplate. Do I hear any votes for Paddy
Burke's or do folks want to stay out of the city?

I leave for New Mexico tomorrow morning to visit our long-lost Dympna.
I'll be back on Tuesday and I hope you all have this settled by then
    :^)

Yes, it is very close to the Garden. Take the North Station exit off
of the expressway. If heading North on the expressway, take a left off
the exit. Portland Street is a few down on your left. I believe it
is a one-way out so you'll need to go down the next block and then up
Portland. Parking is part of the fun!

Just a wee reminder that the Christmas party is this FRIDAY night!

Some of us may be going into the city earlier for dinner and to look
at the Christmas lights. We may even get to Paddy Burke's earlier than
8:00 since someone is over 40 and has to be home to New Hampshire
early :^) and some of us are party divas that have a second one to go
    to that evening! *<:*)

There ain't gonna be no blizzard, but if the media weather hype scares
keVin off the road in dreaded anticipation, then I'm not going to be
able to hitch a ride with him from MKO. Seeing as how that would leave
me without means of transport to the vicinity of the planned
festivities, I will reluctantly have to forego same.

Spare the milk and Guinness aspersions for the easily panicked. I'd
