When you slackers from MA get back to work and read this, how's about
an evening at a well-known Manchester, NH bar? Presently, I have Tuesday,
23 April available.

If ya can't do that, or if you would to do it again, how's about lunch
on Wednesday, 24 April?

Just thought it might be an opportunity to see some fellow CELTS noters
before I go to Ireland.

Awright, keVin, it's over to you...

    Just F.Y.I.  ....

    Tuesday night we plan to stop by the Wild Rover in Manchester for a few
    games of darts (which means I get to embarrass 2 Corkonians) and who knows
    we might even devour a few pints of Guinness "IF" there are any pint glasses
    left in the place ... :-)

    A Wednesday lunch sounds like a great idea !!! (Get to work Darcy) ;-)

    KeVin,

    When you say "Tuesday night we plan to stop by the Wild Rover in
    Manchester" do you mean today or next week? We wouldn't want folks
    confused. Communication can be the cause of many an empty
    get-together...don't you agree George?

    re: .10

    keVin,

    You're chances of beating ANY Corkonians at darts are about
    the same as Co. Clare beating Cork for the All-Ireland Hurling
    championship!  :->

    And there will be PLENTY of stout to go around - unless
    the "Peter Rd. Publican" gets there first. On second thought,
    bring yer own glass! :->
857.13Or was it Tuesday fortnight ?? ACTGSF::BURNSUp like a bird & over the cityWed Apr 17 1991 16:067

    	<<We plan to meet Tuesday week ... or was it last Tuesday week :-)

This is a brief note about the session we will be having last Tuesday, for
those of you who are accustomed to time warps.

keVin, being the good man he will be, managed to set the flagpole upwind
from the flag and most of us will find 'The Wild Rover' in Manchester.

Mr. Culbert may have to arrive in a hired conveyance, and hopefully after
a few well-deserved pints of the black stuff he will be able to direct
our dearest writer to the parking lot in which Mr. Frozen Road Apple
would have parked his car if he is able to follow Mr. A&E.

Shortly, before we are to leave, we arrived (that is the nature of time
warps) and a good time will be had by all, particularly Joe who had a rather
'pointed discussion' with keVin and won. Considering the other patrons of
this bar, 'bottoms up' brought on a whole new meaning that was not lost
on those who were 'getting behind' in their drinking (a little tongue in
cheeks, there).

Having survived the session (by administering self-inflicted vicious
slaps about the head and ears), we delved into another one at the Yangtse
Conference Room (at least, those of us who were still able-bodied or not
morose over the 6-2 drubbing that a certain low-life hockey team was
dealt). I would like to thank all those present for counting only
451 'eh's when I spoke, and for barely surpressing hysterical outbursts
of maniacal laughter when I inadvertantly displayed a Canadian $2 bill.

Also, all the non-Americans present that night have prepared a petition
for presentation to the United Nations and the International Monetary
Fund that monochrome paper currency be banned, particularly in darkened
bars!!

As always,

Mr. Frozen Road Apple
