                 The Irish Theatre Workshop of Boston

                            Bedtime Story

    At the Galic Club of Lowell     on Chelmsford St   Donation  $10
    
    
    This is a one act Irish Comedy and is our first attempt with this
    group.  We are going to have Mary Lou Filburn singing some traditional Irish
    Songs for part of the evening and a story teller.  It should be a good
    time for all.
    
    This is a benefit for the BETWEEN charity of County Cork.
    
     
    BETWEEN is a holiday program which gives Catholic and Protestant
    families from the most devestated areas of Northern Ireland a respit
    from 'the troubles' on a farm in North Cork.

Sounds great Paddy...I am going to try and make it.  I love theater, and its
NOT at Sullivan Stadium!!  ;^)

However, everyone be warned:  I hear there is a 'riverfest' in Lowell this
weekend, starting Friday night, so the roads will probably be crazier than
usual.

Saturday, March 19, 1994 10am - 3pm:  A Festival of Celtic Culture,
                                      including:

The Historic Highlanders:   A "living history" group will demonstrate
dress, weaponry, and lifestyle of the Scottish Highlanders from the
period of the 14th century to the 18th.

Kevin Myers and friends:  Uileann pipes (Irish bagpipes) and Highland
pipes (Scottish bagpipes):  a talk and concert on both instruments with
accompaniement by other Irish musicians.

Eileen Dugal, stepdancer and singer:  Irish stepdancing workshop with
audience participation; Irish songs.

Mair Lustig of the Boston Cymrodorion (Welsh) Society: Welsh folk dance
demonstration and workshop with audience participation.

Saturday, March 26, 1994 10am -1pm:  Video presentation, The Blood is
Strong, saga of the Gaelic-speaking Scots from ancient times through
emigration to the New World and present-day Scots Gaelic language
revival/survival.


        All Events are Free and Open to the Public.
