2066.0. "determine drd preferred service??" by DYOSW5::WILDER (Does virtual reality get swapped?) Fri May 16 1997 14:52

Is there any way to tell what a drd preference is? Once all systems are
up, if we DON'T have automatic placement set on, we want to know if
drd_service01 is on system1 and that it's preferred service is system2.
Then, we can move it when we want to.

Is there anyway to tell what the preferred system is from the command
line? I don't see any options in asemgr command line to do this.

    Thanks,

    /jim

Use: asemgr -d -v drd_service

It gives you something like:
        Status for DRD service `drd_service`

Status: Relocate: Placement Policy: Favored Member(s):
 on rtcr7 yes Favor Member(s) rtcr7

Storage configuration for DRD service `drd_service`

DRD Device Special File: /dev/rdrd/drd1
Underlying Storage: /dev/rrz129c

NOTE: In order to access the DRD devices in this service from cluster
members outside of this ASE execute the following on each cluster
node which is not a member of this ASE:
                drd_mknod -f drd1
