Digital UNIX V3.2G
ASE V1.3

Two member ASE cluster where one of the machines
(mbb3) hung and the other machine (mbb4) didn't
try to start the service that were on mbb3 (because
network and scsi ping still worked?).

Nothing relevant to this in the system errorlog 
and messages files. 

daemon.log on mbb3 says this:

Is there any known problem with ASE v1.3 and ase daemons dying?
