660.0. "1994/1995 Series I Parkhurst" by DNEAST::PURNELL_CHRI (Pyro Suppression Technician) Mon Oct 03 1994 14:41

    	1994-1995 Series I Parkhurst by Upper Deck

    	315 card Series I - 1 Vintage card per pack (10 per pack), 48 packs
    	per box ($40), not sure how many Vintage cards there are...Cards look
    	like a throw-back to the old paper back cards.....

    	Inserts include: Parkhurst Gold - Odds are 1:47 packs (didn't get one
    	in MY box...)
    			 Crash Cards - No odds listed that I saw....Got 3,
    	(H8)Arnott, (H9)Vanbiesbrouck and (H12)Roy....

    	Collation stunk!!! You'd think with only 10 cards per pack you
    	wouldn't have to worry about dupes...about 1/3 of the packs had
    	doubles.....so you really only get 9 cards a pack!!!

    	I'll swallow my pride and say the I lied....I got 2 Parkies in by
    	box....Guess you have to have spotlights on these cards to find
    	the "PARKIE"....I went through these cards twice and missed them
    	both times...Was sorting out again and came across 2, Greg Hayward
    	and Darius Kasparaitus (for those who might be collecting them!)

    		card ? What's the difference between them and the
    		regular card?

660.7Hidden Parkies...DNEAST::PURNELL_CHRIPyro Suppression TechnicianWed Oct 19 1994 16:1513

    	I think they're trying to do a "1st Day" issue like Stadium Club,
    	guess there's a Parkie for each player...The only difference was
    	"Parkie" written in cursive on the lower left hand corner of the
    	front of the card...writting was about 2" in heighth and is written
    	in Gold..least mine was...but where the Parkie was located, I never
    	picked up on it until I was putting them in 9-page pockets and saw
    	it....I was thrilled that I wasn't gypped out of an insert!!!!!!

    	Glad to be back Joe!
