553.0. "1993 Kraft Cheese Singles Pop-Up Cards" by FUTURE::JST_ONGE (John St.Onge USDSL DTN 275-2715) Thu Apr 15 1993 00:49

    Kraft Cheese Singles has a new baseball card set out. You get one card
    per pack of singles. The cards are kind of neat, regular size with one
    size a full shot and the back with a little cutout image that will pop
    up when you pull a tab at the top of the card. Different than the
    normal. There's an AL All-Star set and a NL All-Star set. You can send
    in for a full 30 card set if buy about 8 packs of the singles. There's
    no Shaq in the set, but it'll be fun collecting this set and the new
    Hostess Baseballs.

553.1Questions on Kraft Singles' Superstars '93CARTUN::PAVLOCKTue Sep 07 1993 20:5023

    Mr. Moderator,

    If this is the wrong note, please move.

    I've got a couple of questions on the Kraft Singles' Superstars '93
    cards:

    	- Is this a new set that Kraft just put out this year, or have they
    	  been doing this like Post has done in the past?

    	- Is there a Frank Thomas as part of this 30 card set?

    	- Is there a way to order the complete set of 30 cards directly
    	  from Kraft,or one of their agents?

    I think they are a pretty neat looking card, so any info will be
    appreciated!!

    Regards,
    Denny

    Denny, I moved your note from the Jimmy Dean note to here. This is the
    first year for this Kraft Singles set. I know a few years back Kraft
    had a set on their Cheese and Macaroni dinners. Yes, there's a Frank
    Thomas in the set. There was a mail-in coupon for a set, but you had
    to buy a lot of cheese - 8 packs of singles I believe. I know they
    didn't have cards in the cheese very long, maybe a few weeks only.
