    Hi John, any Mantle's in those there Denny's cards??

    I went to Dennys last nite just to check it out and at the same
    time the waitress gave me some literature on the Grand Slam Menu.
    You can send away for a card along with a self addressed envelope
    and they'll send you one card gameset,and it reads No Purchase 
    Necessary,and the Holograms do look good.
    
    Guess where me and the kids are going tonight,3 cards please ?
     

    i know how to get a win on the dennys cards before you rub off the
    spots give me a call and i'll tell you how to win!!!!!!!

     Has anybody found out which cards are the hardest to get?
    Some guy at Denny's said Don Mattingly was the hardest, I
    don't know about that. Has anybody priced those holograms,

      Which ones were running for $8.00? I seen at the card shop
    the Ruben Sierra's were going for that much. Anyway 8 of 26
    is Don Mattingly if that will help anybody. I also have a 
    couple Mark Mc Gwires,sp? I'll look up the number on that one
    also and list it. That way we can get a chechlist going.

    I got Pedro Guerrero in my 1 attempt.  My girlfriend opened hers at
    home and being the sports fan she is, said it was "Someone Davis".
    I guess Eric, although I suppose it could be Alvin.

    I saw this story somewhere else recently (SCD?).  I think the manager
    of the store blew a big opportunity.  He could've done what the guy
    wanted, then donated the meals to a homeless shelter, meals on
    wheels, or some other charitable organization.  Hobby-wise, I'm  glad
    to see it, but there is another part of life other than "the hobby".
    
    I saw these sets (whole sets) selling for $80 this weekend, but hey
    -- $150 if you wanted two.  And the guy had a LOT of them ...

    Denny's in Salem N.H. refused to do a (take out ) order for 35 Grand 
    Slam Promotional meals, this is what the waitress told me.
    You eat there or you get no Hologram card.(sorry no takeouts)!
    

I'd love to see their faces if I someone sat down and ordered 35 meals.

While the give away is over, Dennys in Nashua, NH. have had patrons 
wanting more or missing cards. 
The store wanted to provide a way to 'fill-in' missing cards....so...

	HOLOGRAM SWAP at the Nashua's DENNYS on Wed 9*4*91
		8am to 10am.......and......7pm to 9pm

This LOOKS like the local store operator effort and not a
chain sponsored event.			ray

    doubles for one of theirs?

    the waitress had no other details. This 'info' was printed
    on the bottom of the bill. I guess that they (dennys local)
    is just providing some space. I have no clue if EXTRA's will
    be available from Denny's.

    ps: I only have two cards (1 visit with my wife). Mine are
        Howard Johnson and Don Mattling(sp?).

	Probably just an update set (501-600). Like UD baseballs (701-800).
	Of course I wouldn't put a paycheck on it.
