192.0. "1990 POST CEREAL" by QBUS::T_ROCCA (Read my lips, no second term...) Tue Oct 09 1990 20:14

Does anyone have info on the Post Cereal cards for 1990? Are there
prices in SCD for individual cards? I have heard the set goes for
around $50. I am trying to put together this years set and the kids
stopped eating sugar crisp :>( . Any help appreciated.

couldn't find any info on post cereal cards in the other notes,
so I thought I would inquire here. I have a '62 Clemente and some
'62 football Bobby Lane, Kyle Rote, ect. What value would cards
    like these have?

I have a Ken Griffey Jr. (POST) card, and I seen it for sale at the
swap meet for $14.00 not bad for coming out of a cereal box. I also
have a Alan Trammel, and George Brett.

Picked up 4 Post Cards on Sunday at a local show, Griffey was one.
Dealer had several, all for $7 each. He was selling everything for less
than marked and I got the Griffey plus Sandberg, Scott and McGwire for
$9. List for all 4 was $11.50. All in all, alot to pay for something
that comes in cereal. I now have the complete set and would like to
thank a few of you here for helping out. I still have a few dupes if
    anyone is interested.

    Hello,

Thats a great price for those Post cereal cards, which extras do you
have? What city do you reside in? I'm out in Phoenix,Az but willing to
purchase some of those cards, drop me a line at WALLAC::RABINO. I heard
somebody talking about the Post basketball cards now that would be
great especially if you got the David Robinson.sp?

I was grocery shopping last night, and decided to cruise the cereal
isle. To my suprize, I spotted Post cereal on the shelf that had cards.
Couldn't resist, bought a box. I thought this promotion was long gone,
but there's still some out there. I got Trammell, Clemens, and
Strawberry. I also have a Mitchell dup left from earlier. If anyone
needs these cards, I'm interested in trading; I need a Will Clark.

I don't know about you guys in the East, but I can still find boxes of
cereal in the stores with last years cards in them. I have about 6-7
dups, if anyone wants to trade or needs them.
