Steve be very cautious. Items like the one you describe are rare.
Most bidders on something like this will try real hard to lowball you.
Also think about having it mounted and framed using the museum
quality materials that prevent further yellowing. Go oger the front
and the back with a magnifying glass and try to find anything that
would indicate the year signed, where taken, team that Babe was on ect.
If your lucky it's worth thousands. Congrats. Would your family
consider adopting me and passing on some other collectables.
    Keep the note file informed.

   Steve:

This is definitely worth some big-bucks if authenic. Probably the
best route to go with this is a high-priced type New York Auction.
Something like this belongs with the highest bidder. Everyone loves
   "The Babe".

Where in your family or whom met him?

   Good Luck, Bob

I have several Babe Ruth autographs....one is a ball signed "To Ann,
Babe Ruth"....the Ann is my mother. I also have a photograph of them
taken together in March of 1934 and after the print was made she
    had him sign that.

The most interesting (if not the most valuable) one, I think, is an
officials card from a 1942 Benefit Golf Tournament that the Babe
participated in....to raise funds for bonds....war effort and all
that.....Bob Hope, Craig Wood and another name I don't recognize
joined Babe Ruth as the players. All four signatures are on the
ticket. I have a photograph taken then of Babe with golf club in
hand and also a letter from the Navy department to my father regarding
the success of the tournament....he had organized it.

I wouldn't part with the autographed picture of my Mom and Babe Ruth
but there are times (financial pinch times) when I consider selling
the others. I would have absolutely no idea where to start.
