157.1usually, promotional cards are airbrushedSMURF::BREAUReagan's astrologer for President!Wed Jul 25 1990 16:185

    Re: -1 Why is it an "exciting" set if Topps airbrushes out the logos?
    Because non-promotional cards _never_ do that, thus rendering this set
    an unusual "first"?   - Jim

    This wouldn't be the first time Topps airbrushed NFL logos check out
    some of the sets in the 70s. I know in the 1975 set, the logos are
    airbrushed.

    >>> card minus the logos, they'll definitely suffer in sales.

    Suffer in sales, maybe?! But what happens when some of the
    non-airbrushed cards get out? Looks like error city to me.
    You gotta love it, John! :*[

    The really bad thing about all of the errors this year was that
    Topps had the fewest. And the ones that they had wern't as bad
    as Score's Ryne Sandberg playing third base. I really do hope
    they can keep the errors down to a minimum.

    I bought a box last night for $16. Pretty good distribution 77.7%,
    in a ?528? card set. I still need 118 cards to complete the set.
    Anybody with doubles, willing to trade or sell, let me know and
    I'll send you my wantlist.
