Switching between subnets is not an issue with IPv6, since it does not suffer from the deficiencies
of IPv4 which constrain redirects to be within subnets. Hence an IPv6 router is able to redirect a host to 
a host in a different "subnet" on the same LAN, and the packets will be sent directly, without
any further router intervention.
