Nintendo ??? I've looked, but never seen any...

Side Pocket is a 9 ball pool game that is best played with two players
although it has one player option. This game also has a learning mode
where you are shown the effects of the different types of shots and
then you are allowed to practice the same shots. The only thing I did
not like was the repetative music (it tends to irritate me). The game
also has a mode for regular play but does not use 15 balls as you
    might expect.

Lunar Pool offers standard 8-ball play, but that's only the
    beginning.

You can alter gravity (drag) so the balls move longer with less effort,
and also modify the table - different shapes/number of pockets/bumpers.

It's not straight pool, but then again, if it's a video game, it's not
    straight pool either. :-)

490.3side pocket/just try to find a copyWFOV11::DAMONMon Aug 06 1990 20:139
i had borrowed a copy of side pocket a year or so ago, and it was
absolutely great for my needs. even my wife liked it. actually
it was a few week span where the two of us got hooked real bad.
then it had to be returned. well i have been searching ever since
to find a copy, and still do not have one.

so if anyone has a copy they are ready to sell, i am open.

I rented "Side Pocket" last night, and it didn't have a book with
it, so I have a question. How do you use the spins on the ball
like you are able to do in the practice game?

When playing [1-player mode] I tried every button on the cont-
roller but couldn't get the top window to display anything but
    	"center".

    	Thanks for any info.

    	RE: "Side Pocket"

Never mind, I figured it out. Hold down the B button while mov-
ing the control pad left/right/up/down for various spins.
