I got this one for $20 at Toy Works over the w'end ... I could
never beat the computer playing version 1, but in this one I've
won 2 out of 4 played so far.
I'm playing Boston vs. the computer's Philly.

Is there any "special thing" that happens when someone finishes a
season [80 or 85 wins, whatever]? Supposedly, you're supposed to
be going to the World Series at that time, but is there any kind
of a "wrap-up" done as far as stats or whatever?
Has anyone completed a season yet? I've played 76 games so far
and have won 45, so I have a while to go.

This game doesn't seem to let you play past the 13th inning. It
basically ends the game at that point, apparently as a tie game.
This has happened twice so far.

| That's right, it says it in the manual that the game ends after 12
innings.

Well, a few months ago I finally finished a season. It was very
exciting:
The screen flashed "League Champion!!" and that was it.

I've been picking the Omaha team from the Western league recently.
Batter #2, Fisher, has a lightning-fast swing, and almost every
time he's up he gets either a home run or a scorching line drive
to the outfield. And a selectable pinch-hitter, Rowe, also has a
lightning-fast swing, but he doesn't have as much power.
Also some good pitchers on the team. I dont throw any curves ...
just heat, so I can't comment on breaking ability of the pitchers.
