I haven't seen it for Nintendo but I've played the arcade version.
The game consists of a spy character landing on the roof of a hotel
and having to shoot and kick his way down past bad guys while riding
elevators between floors. You also have to pick up some secret
documents along the way. Overall, the game is pretty simple but
I liked it. The action is sort of slow, so if you're into fast-paced
shoot-em-up games you would be disappointed.
Have you seen Elevator Action for Nintendo?

I've got Elevator Action for the Game Boy, and the gameplay is
pretty much as described earlier in this string. I don't know
if it's available for the NES console. I played the arcade version
quite a bit many years ago, and I was surprised to find out that
the Game Boy version is a little more elaborate in that it includes
4 different weapons (love that shotgun!), chutes, guard dogs, robots,
and alarms in addition to all of the regular features. I find
it quite entertaining.
I'd like to know, however, if anyone is getting past the fourth
building. And just how many scenes are there? I've done 1-1,
1-2 and 1-3. When do you hit 2-1? The books says that robots
don't appear until level 6, but is that 1-6 or 6-1? If there is a
continue feature, I don't know about it either.
How about strategy? Do you avoid the "?" doors once you have the
shotgun? Is it easiest to locate the last "!" doors by going all
the way to the basement? Do you hate being stuck with grenades
as much as I do? Fellow opponents of Bad Guys International want
to know!
