274.0. "NINTENDO POWER NEWS NETWORK" by BOOKS::ANGELONE (Are ya listenin' ??) Wed May 03 1989 12:05

Items found in the latest issue of NINTENDO POWER magazine.

MODERATOR FEEL FREE TO MOVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.
    ------------------------------------------------------

    Okay here we go.....

    1. In the NEW CONTROLLER column.
Mattel's POWER GLOVE will go for under $90. Games that
it was demoed with at the C.E.S last were a handball
and tank commander game. My guess is that it will end
up going for over $90 and will NOT work with all games.
Broderbund's U-FORCE controller is the most unique.
Looks like one half of a BATTLESHIP game and works, I
Believe on proximity principles (whatever). They say
for under $75. Again does not work with all games,
But imagine and I quote "Punching out with Mike Tison".
    2. In the NEW NOT EVER MENTIONED BEFORE game department.
Games like BACK TO THE FUTURE, BEETLEJUICE, DICTIONARY,
and the PUNISHER are in the works from LJN. STAR TRAK V
from GAME PAK, CLASH AT DEMONHEAD from TOKAI, CHESSMASTER
from HI-TECH, and BATMAN from SUNSOFT. A series of Walt
Disney stuff like ADVENTURES IN DISNAYLAND, RESCUE RANGERS,
and DUCK TALES. From arcade alley, games like; BAD DUDES,
GUERILLA WAR (yhinks this one was mentioned before),
THNDER CADE, and SUPER DODGEBALL. Junior versions of
WHEEL OF FORTUNE and JEPORADY. Here is great one for
the simulator freaks STEALTH EAGLE. Other are DRAGON
WARRIOR and MONSTER PARTY. And finally from pinball alley
PINBOT, ROLLERBAL, and SUPER SUSHI PINBALL.
For further detailsm get in touch with me and I will quote
what the magazine had to say about each.
