    Find Jaws and attack him until his strength is gone.  (It helps to
    raise your power level beyond four.)  Then stab him with the boat.  I
    found the hardest part to be stabbing him just right; you must do it

    Thanks, but that sounds much simpler than we have found it to be!!
    ;-) We tend to AVOID the big guy, because it seems we are shooting
    popcorn at him, even at level four.
    
    Any tips/spoilers to get beyond level four? For example:

    I think I did the form feed right.
    
    I know that the red stingrays need to be hit twice to disappear.
    sometimes they leave conch shells, stars or the magic crab. Also
    the jellyfish? can leave these. But on the box/instructions, the
    shell count was about 68 (the box is, of course, at home) and I
    cannot imagine getting that many without some sort of trick, or
    a LOT of patience. At level four or five, when "you've hit something"
    there is a bunch of creatures to kill/avoid, and JAWS and JAWS Jr.
    even join in the fun. 
    
    No, we haven't seen the final scene.

    Re .2:
    
    The shell count can get up to 68.  With more creatures to kill, you can
    build up shells faster.  You just have to practice a bit more.
    
    You've GOT to attack Jaws at some point; that's the only way to get to
    the final scene.  It's up to you when you want to do it; you can do it
    early by spending a lot of time on Jaws.  (It's best to have a joystick
    with rapid-fire; attack Jaws from the rear, and the closer you are, the
    faster you can fire.)  Or you can build up your power and do it later
    with some work, but not as much.  If you choose to build up your power,
    you have to be careful not to be killed and lose half of what you have
    gained.

    I have a few questions of this game.
    
    1-Can you restart the game in the last scene that went game over?
    2-Are there any 1up's?
    3-Can you kill this thing with the mini Sub?
    4-How can you found the Mini-Sub?

	THOSE ARE SOME GOOD QUESTIONS:

            ANSWERS
             1. I never got the right start/select/A button/B button order,  but
there must be some order, ex. SMB - start and A button,  to continue I'll see if
I can find one for you.   
             2. There are no one ups,  if you happen to find one let me know.
             3. Jaws can be destroyed by the sub.  I prefer the sub because
the sub allows you to be hit twice before you die.
             4. I think the mini-sub appears on the screen after you have power
3 and at least thirty conch shells.

    My kids want to put a spoiler in here...tragically I don't

    If you kill jr.jaws you will get a conch shell that will take you
    to the bonus stage. The bounus stage is when there is a lot of badguys
    and get conch shells. Once you get to jaws little jaws will come
    with him.

    The conch shell will not get you to the bonus stage, nor will killing
    Jaws Jr.  The bonus stage comes randomly.  In it, you can earn conch
    shells.
