I am taking a basic stats course, and am having a difficult time.
Is there anyone interested in Tutoring? I am in the Marlboro area.
you can reach me at DTN 291-7200 or 7500. I am really desperate.

I will repeat the offer I made in 744.2 (but was not taken up on).

You can post problems as replies here and ask us to solve them (with
suitably detailed explanations). I'm willing to work on them if you'll
enter the description. If you mention the textbook the problem is
from, I may be able to obtain it from the DEC library.
Then you can just refer to the problem by number.

I am not a mathematician, but have had exposure to a some
probability|statistics related math in E.E. courses ( e.g. random
variable, communication systems, systems identification and estimation
, and some engineering related discrete math; all use probability and
statistics). Other people here have much more extensive backgrounds and
may be willing to help.

You might enter each problem as an individual note or simply string them out
as replies to this note. I don't think that most MATH noters would object
to solving elementary problems for a good cause.
