620.0. "Integer LP program needed" by ISWISS::DAY (Bob Day dtn 223-1166) Fri Dec 05 1986 13:38

I'm looking for a VAX program, or at least a program in a
higher level language, that does Integer Linear Programming.
Can anyone help?  Thanks.

620.1Another resquest for help...CHOVAX::YOUNGBack from the Shadows Again,Sat Dec 13 1986 20:029
    I have a real need for something like this myself. Could some of
    the planet-sized brains who read this conference provide some help
    or at least reply with a discussion of the relevant issues of linear
    programming.

    I am afraid that this is an area where my education has been sorely
    lacking.

620.2FORTRAN Branch & Bound algorithm availableMODEL::YARBROUGHTue Dec 23 1986 19:1917
We have a FORTRAN/VMS Branch-and-Bound program which can be used to solve
LP, IP, and IP 0/1 programs; it was provided by Kayhan Talebi. It is
currently to be found at:

	MODEL::USR:[YARBROUGH.MATH.BB.REFCOPY]*.*

Included is a command file, BBJOB.COM, and an MMS description file, BB.MMS,
to build the program.

I have hard-copy documentation only, so if you want a copy please send mail
to me at MODEL::YARBROUGH, and include your return address.

All I personally know about this program is that is compiles and links and
is reputed to work. Please let me know of problems, but I DON'T promise to
support it.
