| Hi Guys,
I've just started back with WW after a major Christmas binge. I have
the new WW book. Basically the attitude is you can eat anything as
long as you eat in moderation.
As far as WW at work is concerned - UK WW's have decided not to take on
workplaces any longer. That's a real shame because I know I'd stick to
it more if I was being watched by workmates!
Good luck,
Anji

Well, you do count, but there are rules that go along with this too
such as you should have 5 servings of fruits and/or vegetables, 2
servings of milk etc. I don't have my books with me right this minute,
so I can't look them all up. There's also a book called 'Facts about
Fat' that we got which outlines how much of those grams of fat should
be saturated vs. unsaturated, so it's not as simple as it seems on the
surface. Pretty sure it's something like only 7%-10% should be from
saturated.
I'm still doing the selection plan, but it seems that people who've tried
fat and fiber really like it, although some did struggle with it at first.
There is a great deal of self-moderation involved. The classic example that
our leader likes to give is that yes a bag of pretzels may have no fat
and 10 grams of fiber, but you're probably not going to lose weight if
that's how you choose to count things. Even though there isn't any
calorie counting, you do have to keep that in the back of your mind
when making your choices.
Just some added info.

| Somewhere in this conference there is some discussion about the newest
Weight Watchers plan, but there are so many topics discussing WW plans,
that I couldn't find it. So I decided to put my note here, even though
previously this note was dedicated to the Fat and Fibre plan.
I recently received the new plan: for women 2 milk, 3 fat, 2 fruit, 3+
vegetables, 4 protein, 5 bread; plus 700 optional and 14 personal
selections per week. (For men and youths add 1 fat, 1 fruit, 2
protein, and 2 bread; youths also add 1 milk.)
I've been on the Weight Watchers plan twice in the past, but never lost
weight. However, I thought this plan looked interesting, and would
like to hear from those of you who have tried it or are currently on
the program: have you lost weight? do you feel you get enough to eat?
what is your overall opinion of the plan?
Thanks for any input!
