Has anyone ever implemented or been part of a
'lose-weight-a-thon' fundraising event?
I am looking for details of actually starting/running one.

What is the charity for this 'lose-weight-a-thon' that you are thinking
of running? I've never heard of this but it sounds interesting. If it is
a worthy cause, it would be inspiration to lose. How do they work it? Is
it extended over a certain amount of time? Do they have official
weigh-in's or do they just trust people to honestly state their weights
before and after?
I guess I'm not really answering your questions, just adding some more!
Lisa, if you do have one, and the charity is a good one I would be
interested in this event.
