Thanks for the information, Janet!

Covert Bailey's Fit or Fat books were the first step for me in
permanent weight loss.  I'll be looking forward to seeing his show!

  What a GREAT show!  If you missed it, Channel 11, PBS at WENH, will be
  running it again on Sunday, 26-Aug, at 6pm.  It probably runs a little
  more than 2 hours (if you're taping it) because of the fund-raising
  breaks.  I'm going to tape it so I can look at it again whenever I need
  some inspiration to get out there and exercise!

  I spread the word through my office after seeing this base note -- and
  everyone is chatting this morning about what a good show it was.

    I'm still laughing my butt off (I wish!) just thinking about him!!
    The show was on again last night and he is incredible!!  He makes so
    much sense and he's so funny too...he gave lots of great info....
    I'm definitely buying his book.....

presence in the listings.  BTW: WBGH is currently in a fund raising drive, so
there will probably be pledge breaks in it.  The showing time seems to be
90 minutes.

The show is on again sometime in the next week on Channel 2, WGBH, Boston, MA.
and also on Channel 11, Derry NH.  I do not have TV guide in front of me here, 
but did at least notice its presence in the listings.  BTW: Chan 11 is 
currently in a fund raising drive, so there will probably be pledge breaks in 
it.  The showing time seems to be 80 minutes.  This appears to be an updated
version; CB was using a computer touch pad for his demo selections that I do
not recall seeing in previous shows.

    I watched part of Covert Bailey's new show last night on Channel 11,
    and I'd like to get in on videotape.  Does anyone know when the next

I believe it will also be on this coming week on both channel 2 AND 11.
I do not have the TV guide in front of me but will try to enter the info
tomorrow.

    I tried to record Sunday's show on Channel 2, but the VCR didn't 
    turn on :-(
    
    But, it's on again at 10 pm this Thursday on Channel 2.

The video appears to have hit the stands.  I saw it for sale for $14.95 in
SUncoast Video in the Mall of New Hampshire, Manchester, NH.

This coming August ??, Channel 11 (PBS) in N.H. will be showing a
Covert Bailey special called "Fit or Fat For the 90's".  It is towards
the end of the month when they have the annual 'beg-a-thon'.

    Covert Bailey will be doing a series of shows on Channel 11 (here in 
    Nashua) starting in June. His program was shown again two nights ago.

    Do you mean new shows?  Or will this be reruns of Fit or Fat for the
    90's.  (Which I still watch every time it's on, though....)  Would be
    neat to see a new show.

From what I understand (hearing bits and pieces 
during the WGBH shows), Covert Bailey will have a 
series on PBS.

It's new shows that haven't been on before....I'm not
sure if they're lecture-types shows or not....

    There was an "infomercial" on TV on Sunday, advertising an exercise
    machine. Covert Bailey was saying how good it was. I think the
    company/machine was called "Health Rider" or similar.
