The Scientific American, March 1989, has 7 page article en-
titled "The Biology of Obsessions and Compulsions".
It examines the physiological causes for obsessive-compulsive
disorder, OCD.
It may be useful for understanding complusive eating, and if
you're the kind of person who suffers from this or just wants to

Fun fact to know and tell:
Most (if not all) DEC facilities with libraries get Scientific American,
(so hopefully Mike won't get deluged with copy requests). If your site
doesn't have a library, you can call a site that does and have them send
you the book or magazine you're looking for through inter-office mail!
