1838.0. "pwlic.grp consumes all the CPU !" by VAXRIO::DJOPC4::SCHOR (Email: VAXRIO::SCHOR) Tue Apr 29 1997 14:51

Hi,

We are using PATHWORKS for D'Unix 5.0g eco2.

The pwlic.grp process is consuming all the CPU. vmstat shows idle time
equal 0.

I created the license.dat again and behaviour is the same !!!

Anyway, it's working fine (except the cpu time) !!!

Any ideas ?

thanks,

Helio.

Is it logging any errors in the licensing log files? Check in
/usr/net/servers/pathworks/logs. Use pwlsadmin and set the log
files to log everything.

You can stop and start just the license server by running
/sbin/init.d/lic_srv start and /sbin/init.d/lic_serv stop.
