are the users getting validated by a server in the account domain?
1694.3Yes, users are authenticatedNETRIX::"behner@mail.dec.com"Bill BehnerTue Mar 11 1997 01:5114
Yes,

The users are authenticated in the administrative domain. The trusts work
then for any NT hosts they access in the resource domain (where the unix
servers are) but no pw6.1 hosts.

Also, when setting file permissions on the pw6.1 hosts, they see the usernames
from the administrative domain and acts like it is setting them. But, when
you issue the net access command, you get the users name with no domain
prefix.

We finally rolled back to 6.0 which at least allows the passthru
authentication to work.
