1399.5Now it happens with 6.1A.....KERNEL::BURNSTWed May 07 1997 15:1520

    Return of the non problem.

    I now have the same prob from a NT client to a PW OSF 6.1 e2 and 6.1A
    server and can reproduce this here in house.

    Copy of file dated 11/19/96 7:01pm from nt to
    1) PW OSF v5G eco 2 date stays as per 11/19/96 7:01pm.
    2) PW DECUNIX 6.1A date now shows current date & time 5/7/97 3:51pm.
    4) NT v4 W/S        date stays as per 11/19/96 7:01pm
    5) PW vms 5.0 E eco 1 date stays as per 11/19/96 7:01pm

    As there appears to be no settings on the server for this is there
    anything that can be done to preseve the original creation date.
    If not,
    Is this now worth a IPMT as cust uses dates to check for file change
    dates to backup to a optical disk.
