789.0. "CD-ROM as a volume " by EVTAI1::DEGAT (From the froggie's TSC) Fri Feb 21 1997 09:22

    Hi,

    I'm using PATHWORKS V1.0E and i have a problem to read ISO-9660 CDROM.

    I've mounted the device like this :

    $CD_MOUNT /OVER=ID DKA400:

    Then i create a volume on Netware with SCONSOLE on DKA400:[000000].

    I restart PATHWORKS to mount the Netware Volume then Map it.

    There's no problem to map it, but ican't see any directory on this
    drive. I can see only files.

    Can somebody help me ?

789.2What version of VMS?CPEEDY::COOKJust say NO to that AccViO! - Java!!!Thu Mar 20 1997 14:5414

    Yes, ISO-9660 support for NetWare volumes has been tested
    and works ok here when we try it. (I cannot reproduce the problem
    that you are seeing. Fwiw, I don't specifically use the $CD_MOUNT
    cmd that you used...it's not defined on my V7.1 Alpha-based VMS system,
    though I doubt whether that's relevant.)

    What version of OpenVMS are you running? As I recall, there were
    bug(s) in the ISO-9660 support back in the early V6.x OpenVMS days.
    I'm guessing that it's VMS's bug that's tripping you up.

    Hope this helps...
